In The Valley
This newly built home in the beautiful Beaver Valley is a seamless blend of natural materials, warm earthy tones, and rustic charm—the perfect getaway for these clients. By collaborating early in the build with both the designer and builder, we achieved a seamless experience across design, construction, and installation. The kitchen balances contrasting finishes and styles, featuring a mix of painted and oak cabinetry with traditional face frame and sleek slab doors. The large island stands out with oversized posts that contrast the refined oak while discreetly housing outlets. This space flows effortlessly into the butler’s pantry, where face-framed dark green cabinetry create a moody and sophisticated nook. In the mudroom, tall curved panels offer easy access to a corner boot dryer, while cubbies with hidden storage and convenient hooks keep essentials organized. Tall closets accommodate everything this family needs, including large shoe storage cleverly tucked away from the foyer. For this project, we designed and crafted three custom white oak reeded barn doors in varying sizes. These doors provide flexible space division when needed while tucking away when not in use.
The laundry room is designed for both functionality and tranquility, finished in a charming sage green with a mix of open and closed storage solutions.
The primary suite is a private retreat, featuring a wall-to-wall closet, makeup nook, double vanity, and a tucked-away office for quiet productivity. A custom oak desk with a waterfall edge feels more like a furniture piece than a built-in, perfectly positioned to take in the serene pond views.
