Heritage Project
Built in 1879, this heritage destination beautifully preserves its old-world charm while incorporating tailored custom cabinetry and millwork. In the kitchen, face frame cabinetry, beveled shaker doors, and furniture-style toe kicks evoke a timeless, traditional aesthetic, accented by warm, unlacquered brass hardware. Along with a custom range hood, a custom portable ladder was created to be used between the living room and kitchen, allowing for it to be out of the way when more space is needed. The living room features a cozy library nook, complete with a paneled backing, face frame cabinetry, and open shelving, blending charm with functionality. The mirroring laundry room and mudroom, finished in a classic blue, prioritize practicality with tall storage solutions, a dark-stained countertop, and bench seating with hooks for easy organization.Cozy seating with built-in storage and detailed wall molding make creative use of small nooks throughout the home. Thoughtful layers of traditional elements enhance the historic character of the property, resulting in a high-quality, timeless space that honors its past.
